New Spendor A-Line mk2 range

Spendor Audio Systems has introduced a Mark 2 version of its critically acclaimed A-Line series, enhanced by a range of refinements that elevate performance and listening.

The new range benefits from refined crossovers, improved internal bracing and damping, and the A4.2 and A7.2 models have a brand-new soft dome, wide surround, rear-chambered 27mm tweeter. The new design reduces cabinet interaction, minimising time smearing and lowering the noise floor, resulting in a cleaner, more precise sound with greater clarity in instruments and vocals. The improved bracing also promises enhanced stereo imaging with accurate soundstage placement.

All models – A1.2, A2.2, A4.2, and A7.2 – are designed, engineered and manufactured in Spendor’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility near Sheffield, combining the company’s signature craftsmanship with advanced engineering to deliver the immersive musical enjoyment that Spendor is renowned for. We are just running these in but already note a real improvement in handling of low frequencies with much tighter bass.
